The worship leaders lead worship in the celebration Services of PLMC

OUR MEMBERS

Our worship leaders are a very faithful and committed group of leaders who passionate love the Lord. Their age ranges from the mid 20’s to 70. This inter-generational approach is an intentional direction of the worship ministry to raise the next generation of worship leaders who are mentored and cared for by their more senior worship leaders - who acts as a spiritual father or mother to the younger worship leaders. There are 3 worship leaders in each team and we currently adopting a co-leading approach in worship preparation and leading. This creates a safe space for the young worship leaders to learn from their elders and also have the experienced worship leaders to watch over  and cover them.

The worship leaders leads the worship teams in rehearsal every Friday night prior to the scheduled weekend service that they are leading in. The worship leader works  very closely together with the band leader to determine the flow and song arrangements. After that they meet up on Zoom to discuss and brief the rest team so they can practice their instruments or works out their vocal parts effectively before they attend rehearsals on Friday night.

MEETINGS

The worship leaders, Band leaders and singers leaders will be meeting up quarterly from 2024 to grow together spiritually and to talk about ministry team matters. The worship teams also come together every month to participate and lead in the  church monthly Corporate Prayer Meetings. 

The most important trait we look for is someone who is growing and walking closely with the Lord and is attending cell group. Musical knowledge and experience is a good to have but not crucial as training will be provided.
