PLEASE WEAR A MASK IF YOU ARE COUGHING OR SNIFFLING
Actually, if you are unwell, you should stay home to rest and recover. But if you are NOT feeling unwell and this is just an attack of the “ahems” or “morning nose”, then please wear a mask to allay any fears your fellow worshippers might have. THE CHRISTIAN CALENDAR - EASTER
Sun 9 Apr 2023 is Resurrection Sunday and begins the season of Eastertide. Colours for Easter Sunday are WHITE & GOLD, for the other Sundays WHITE.
Eastertide begins on Easter Sunday, and Christ the Resurrected and Living Lord is emphasized, along with the themes of rebirth, new life, and victory over sin and death. It is a season of great celebration throughout Christendom, and the liturgical colour of white symbolizes purity and this celebratory mood. Christ’s ascension is celebrated 40 days after Easter on Ascension Day.
