CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Silver Boxes
We thank God for the teams who are planning for the Easter Special Progamme that will be held on 9 April. We pray that each child will encounter Jesus and His love and accept Him as Lord and Saviour and follow Him. May the Lord lead each child to be a shining beacon for Him and that they will in turn lead others to Jesus.
Pray for the planning of the Mother's Day Programme in May. We pray that the children's mothers will be blessed and that they will be encouraged and honoured by their children.
Sonshine Kids
We thank God for the Young Adult Team who is planning for the Easter Programme on 8 April. We pray that each child will know the meaning of Easter and embrace Jesus as Lord and Saviour and make Him known.
Pray for more children to join us at Sonshine Kids as we reach out to the community kids.
DISCIPLESHIP & NURTURE
Reclaiming John Wesley’s Class System (Methodist Class & Bands)
Let us continue to pray and commit Bishop Emeritus Wee Boon Hup and the participants in this 4-session course, which started on 18 Mar, that God will fill them with the knowledge of His will, revelation & understanding.
Alpha Course, Disciple 1 & Disciple 4 Courses
We give thanks to God for the ongoing and engaging participation of those who have joined these courses, always praying that their faith be established, their hearts be strengthened, and their discipleship journey be encouraged, through this learning community. Let us continue to pray that they be found faithful & helped in the Lord.
Baptism & Membership Class
We praise God for the many who have decided to take a deeper step in their Christian walk by signing up for the above taking place from end Apr. We continue to pray for those making the decision to do so, as well as a smooth preparation for the sessions.
Journey of Intimacy & Discipleship in Season of Lent
May we take this period in Lent to be reminded of His love for us, and to respond to Him in total surrender and faithful discipleship. Let us pray for God to speak to us as we read and ponder over the 40 Days of Prayer Devotional as a Church, as well as to wait upon Him and intercede for others.
FILIPINO SERVICE
Pray that our FS worshippers who struggle to attend the cell group meetings online, will join our onsite new cell group & Bible study on 3rd and 4th Sundays. Also, pray for those who struggle to attend service both onsite and online due to heavy work demands.
MANDARIN SERVICE
Father Heart of God Retreat
Pray for God’s wisdom to be upon the planning committee as they look into the program and logistic arrangements. Pray for the speaker, Ps Joseph Chean . Ask for God’s protection upon him and his family, that there will be fresh revelation and deeper insight as he waits upon the Lord.
Alpha Course
We thank God for a dedicated team. Praise God for those who have responded to the gospel and are ready for baptism. Continue to pray for the rest of the participants that they will have deeper and personal encounters with God, growing in the knowledge of Him.
YOUTH MINISTRY
YM Ministry Fair 2023 (6 May):
- Pray that God’s wisdom and favour will be upon each ministry as they prepare for this ministry fair, with the heart of reaching out to spur the youths to serve in the various ministries wherever God has called them.
