HEART GIFTS SUNDAY

Next Sunday is Heart Gifts Sunday, a fund-raising drive organised by MWS Covenant Family Service Centre, which is one of PLMC's Outreach arms. These funds help the underprivileged and needy families under the FSC’s care. The staff and volunteers from Covenant FSC will be here next Sunday to raise funds, so let’s Bless the Community.

COMPANIONS IN CHRIST: A SMALL GROUP EXPERIENCE IN SPIRITUAL FORMATION

Companions in Christ (CIC) offers small groups a powerfully transforming experience in opening yourself to God’s presence and guidance over 28 weeks. It will take you on a journey to:

· explore classic ways of meditating on Scripture, learn to listen to God through it and allow your life to be shaped by the Word;

· experience new dimensions of prayer, try fresh ways of opening to God and learn what it means to practice the presence of God;

· reflect on God’s call in your life and discover anew the gifts that God is giving you for living out your personal ministry;

· to grow together as a Christian community and learn how small groups in the church are to be settings for spiritual guidance.

Who will benefit from joining CIC?

· Christians who are wondering if there is “more” to the Christian life than what they already know.

· Christians who desire to bring a deeper dimension to their faith. Christians who desire and are serious about deepening their relationship with God.

· Christians who long for a safe small group to share their journey of faith and committed to growing together.

· Cell group leaders, assistant or potential leaders.

THE CHRISTMAS TALE

In the video, the Bibiks say, “If anyone asks you what you want for Christmas, just say, “Nothing, because all we want for Christmas is YOU!”

So participate in our “Follow Me to the Musical” campaign. Take photos in this pose with your family, friends, colleagues etc and post it on our Instagram site. Let’s create a buzz and make sure people hear about our musical!

Reservation of free tickets opens 20 Nov 2022, 9am at reservation.plmc.org. So pray for God to show you whom to invite. We’re giving out The Christmas Tale stickers after the services, so use them to invite your guests! Because the best gift you could give your loved ones this Christmas is the Gift of Salvation!

Come join us for this Christmas Extravaganza on the evenings of 22, 23 and 24 Dec!

THE CHRISTMAS TALE PRAYER TREE

On 20 Nov, we will be launching The Christmas Tale Prayer Tree where you can write the names of the people you want to invite on pretty Christmas baubles and hang them on the tree as a prayer dedication.

THE CHRISTMAS TALE NEEDS YOU!

We need 10 persons with stage make-up/hairstyling experience to help with The Christmas Tale.

THE CHRISTIAN CALENDAR - KINGDOMTIDE

Kingdomtide, known as Ordinary Time in some churches, starts on the last Sunday in August, and is the last season in the Christian calendar. The season’s emphasis is on Christ the King Eternal, and the themes are the Kingdom of God, the Christian life and maturity, and spiritual growth, both personal and corporate. The liturgical colour is green, symbolizing growth and God’s eternal kingdom.
