Introduction
Pastor Yang is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Community Church, Singapore, a church which he and his wife founded in 1995. Since her inception, the church has grown and planted over 150 churches, schools, orphanages, and bible colleges in 16 different bases around the world.
In 2012, Pastor Yang was led to redeem and restore the Derwen Fawr Estate in Swansea, UK, which houses the famed Bible College of Wales, the college founded and established by Mr. Rees Howells in 1924.
In 2012, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Tung Ling Bible College, a thriving interdenominational bible school in Singapore. In 2014, he was appointed as Chairman of the Festival of Praise. Most recently, he was appointed to chair the Alliance of Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches in Singapore.
A passionate communicator, his desire is to see the Body of Christ come to sonship and full maturity.
Pastor Yang is married to Daphne and they have four children.

We will celebrate 90 years of God’s faithfulness to PLMC on 10 July 2022 at two combined services where the sermon, brought to us by TRAC President Rev Stanley Chua, will be interpreted in Mandarin. Please note the services will be at 8.30am and 11am and will be onsite and online. Silver Boxes will also be at 8.30am and 11am.

1.1 Pray for BL’s disciples – 6 couples and 1 single who are rising in leadership significance and influence. Pray that they will be God-fearing and God-loving.
2. Boonchiaw
2.1 Pray for God’s strength and anointing on Boonchiaw to effectively proclaim God’s Word online (via Facebook) to members in Thailand every Sunday afternoon.
2.2 Pray for Boonchiaw and his family as they plan to visit and minister in Thailand when the borders are open for them to do so.
3. KG & C
3.1 Praise God that KG & C were able to return to the field to do a formal closure of their ministry in Thailand and also to connect with the ministry partners and contacts.
3.2 Pray for their physical health and wellbeing, especially in their travel, that they will be protected against the Covid virus during their visit.
Parachurch Workers
1. Fellowship of Evangelical Students, Singapore: Siah May Lan
1.1 Pray for God's continued healing on May Lan’s mother’s stomach cancer and ongoing chemo treatment. Pray for an opportunity to go for a short holiday when May Lan’s mother is well enough to do so.
1.2 Pray for God's guidance and wisdom upon May Lan in choosing appropriate courses for full time studies if her sabbatical plan is confirmed and approved for next year. Also pray for opportunity to go for an overseas retreat course in November 2022.
1.3 Pray for God's wisdom to build and sustain the small group of art students and raising new leaders in NAFA/Lasalle CF group; for concrete strategies and monetary resources in ministry outreach and forming a Christian fellowship in ITE campus.
2. YWAM Singapore: Benedict Tan
2.1 Pray for Benedict to be given strength daily, as he serves at Tamar Village’s food business in Geylang. Pray for wisdom as he navigates between work and school.
2.2 Pray for Benedict and his girlfriend in their marriage preparation and looking into housing arrangements.
3. Navigators Singapore: Roger Yeo
3.1 Pray that God will increase Roger and Pearlyn’s capacity as they juggle between children’s demands and more responsibilities in ministry demands.
3.2 Pray for J, B, QG, WD, E, A, S that the Holy Spirit would speak to their hearts about the love of Jesus Christ and what He has done for them. Pray they would take the step of faith even as various ones investigate the bible together with them. B has recently indicated progress in his search. We are thankful!
4. Wycliffe Singapore: Grace Tan
4.1 Pray for Grace who is writing her MA Thesis for her African Studies that she will be able to complete her assignment in due time and that her research will be a valuable and useful resource for translation work later.
4.2 Pray for Grace’s sister and family in UK, in their transition from Cardiff to Oxford. Pray for Grace’s brother, Russel to be in good health and wellbeing.
5. YWAM Singapore: David and Tessa
5.1 Pray for David and Tessa to make deep connections with the aunties and uncles in the “cousin” ministries; and also to pray that these people whom they are reaching out to will be open to the love of Jesus and for opportunities to witness to them.
6. YWAM Singapore: Beatrice Wee
6.1. Pray for Beatrice that she will be refreshed and rejuvenated during this season of her sabbatical and also in her discernment on the Lord’s leading in her ministry.
6.2. Pray for breakthrough and also for Beatrice to experience God’s grace, mercy and strength to carry her through the challenges that she is currently facing.

1. East Asia : TK
1.1 Pray for TK and the campus teams that they will be effective in engaging and befriending seekers at the three colleges and also for wisdom to share the gospel and disciple them. Pray for students to be open and responsive to the gospel.
1.3 Pray for God’s provision to meet the financial needs of TK’s family.
2. South Asia : GEMS
2.1 Pray for the GEMS staff and pastors to continue to stand firm in faith and to serve the Lord faithfully in the midst of persecution and the current pandemic situation.
2.2 Pray for India as the country is badly affected by the pandemic - many people are without jobs and the poor are suffering without basic necessities.
2.3 Pray for the Bible School students that they will continue to learn and be agents of transformation wherever the Lord leads them.
3. East Asia: Songs
3.1. Pray for a few strategic networking and mobilisation meetings in the States in June.
3.2. Pray for the TAN-NW worker who is in critical health condition (kidney failure) in the hospital. Pray for God’s mercy and grace upon him.

Job Overview
As part of the church Communications team, the Communications Executive is responsible for the effective communication of the church vision and mission, and the publicity and promotion of its events and activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage social media for PLMC
Manage PLMC website
Assist in publicity and promotion of church events and in archiving of church records
Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor-in-Charge
Requirements
Diploma or degree in digital media, mass communication, multimedia or related disciplines
Minimum two years experience in corporate communications or marketing with hands-on social media management portfolio
Enjoy working on creative projects
Meticulous in attention to detail and a good track record in multi-tasking
Good command of spoken and written English essential. Strong command of Mandarin will be an advantage
Strong computer skills: in particular, a sound knowledge of Desktop Publishing tools and design software like Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, WordPress etc
Basic photography skills and knowledge of photographic equipment is an advantage
Must be able to work on Sundays

SAFE ENTRY CHECK-INS ONLY REQUIRED FOR SANCTUARY SERVICES
With immediate effect, the Mandarin, Youth, Filipino and Peranakan Services do not require Safe Entry Check-Ins. However, VDS applies to the English Services as the capacity of the Sanctuary exceeds 500, and so Safe Entry Check-Ins are required, so please bring along your TraceTogether app or token.
STREAMLINING OF RESTRICTIONS FOR ONSITE SERVICES
With effect from Sat 19 Mar 2022, worshippers to our Onsite Services need not make reservations. Capacity limits have been increased and zoning lifted, so we encourage you to join us. However, as there are still capacity limits, entry will be on a first-come-first-served basis and there will be no entry once the worship venues are full, so worshippers are advised to come early.
Reservations for Silver Boxes still applies, and our online services will continue.
Mask wearing still continue. All worshippers must be fully vaccinated or show proof of exemption.
Worshippers to the 9am English Service are strongly urged to leave the church premises and car park as soon as they are dismissed to make way for worshippers attending the 11.15am English and Mandarin Services.
