As the year draws to a close, and 2023 is about to begin, prayerfully gather your family and/or cell members and join us for the Wesleyan Covenant Renewal Service on Saturday 31 Dec 2022, 8pm onsite and online. 

We will celebrate Holy Communion and renew our covenant with God as a church family blessed to bless the community and the nations. If you are joining us online and don’t have the Holy Communion elements, please collect them from the church office this Thu, Fri and Sat during office opening hours.

Please collect the Holy Communion elements on Thu 29 Dec & Fri 30 Dec, 10am to 4pm, and Sat 31 Dec, 9am to 1pm at the Reception Counter, Level 3, Covenant Centre. 

Rev Christopher Chin has been appointed TRAC Co-ordinator Peranakan/Indonesian Ministry with effect from 1 January 2023, and we wish him all of God’s blessings for this new chapter in his life. 

We are organising a Farewell & Thanksgiving Service on 8 January 2023, 2.30pm in the Sanctuary followed by an afternoon tea reception in the Fellowship Hall. All are invited!

We begin a perpetual 2-Year Bible Reading Plan on 1 January 2023.

In the 4 Sundays in December, the Mandarin Service presents a series of evangelistic services helping our loved ones see Jesus while navigating life's ups and downs. Invite your Mandarin-speaking friends and loved ones to join us at the Chapel at 9am and 11.15am, and online at 11.15am. 

We’ve lighted up the church in celebration of Christ’s birth and our 90th Anniversary! And every evening from 7pm till 12am, the front gates along Upper Serangoon Road will be open for everyone to take photos with the Nativity scene! As was announced last Sunday, Ps Chris has been appointed to be in charge of Peranakan Services from 1 January 2023. We will be having a service to bid farewell to Ps Chris on Sun 8 Jan 2023. Details will be released in a later date.

We rejoice with Ps Joey Chen who was ordained Elder at the Closing & Ordination Service of the 47th TRAC Annual Conference on 24 Nov 2022. We wish her all of God's blessings as she continues to shepherd God's people and extend His kingdom.

On Christmas Day, we light the final candle, the Christ candle which symbolises Jesus as the Light of the World. John 8:12 says, “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” May we always walk by the light of Christ, and bring His light wherever we go.
