SAFE ENTRY CHECK-INS ONLY REQUIRED FOR SANCTUARY SERVICES

With immediate effect, the Mandarin, Youth, Filipino and Peranakan Services do not require Safe Entry Check-Ins. However, VDS applies to the English Services as the capacity of the Sanctuary exceeds 500, and so Safe Entry Check-Ins are required, so please bring along your TraceTogether app or token.

LET'S BE A PRAYING CHURCH

1 Thess 5:16-18 exhorts us to “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing….”

Let’s come together to seek first the kingdom of God at our monthly corporate prayer meeting on the first Wed of each month. The next one is on 4 May, 8 to 9pm on Zoom. Registration closes 3 May, 6pm.

TALK ON INNER HEALING AND YOU
(Closing Date: 29 May)

The talk on Inner Healing covers history and development of the inner healing movement. Participants will be introduced to the basics of Inner Healing and the workings of the PLMC Inner Healing Ministry.

4. Benefits of inner healing/How inner healing can connect you better with God.

PLMC Conference

Let’s go through the open door and invite a friend (or two!) to the Conference. Look out for the Conference Posters that have been displayed around the church. They feature amazingly creative artwork done by the various ministries based on the theme of Unity which embodies the spirit of the Conference!

Christmas Musical

Come audition for the 90th Anniversary Musical, A Christmas Tale - a timeless tale of Christmas with a modern twist! By using the gift of your voice, acting and movement to make the musical come alive, you will be engaged in the process of evangelism through the musical presentation. Auditions are on 28 May 2022. COLLECTION OF LET’S EAT TOGETHER BLESSING GIFT (SUN, 1 May)

Collect your blessing gifts at the Fellowship Hall from 10am to 1.30pm on Sun 1 May 22 if you have not already done so. You can also collect the gifts for your guests if you have not registered.

At 90, let’s demonstrate our faithfulness and resilience, as we continue to bless our community and the nations by living out our vision to be “A Family Blessed to Bless The Community and The Nations.”

In line with the theme of weaving a tapestry of power and love, “Let’s Eat Together – Don’t Say Bo Jio!”. This provides us with an initial platform and acts as a springboard for each of us to build deeper relationships with all whom our Lord Jesus loves. It also gives us a creative space to connect with family and/or friends, to celebrate and do life with one another.

THE CHRISTIAN CALENDAR - EASTERTIDE

Eastertide begins on Easter Sunday, and Christ the Resurrected and Living Lord is emphasized, along with the themes of rebirth, new life, and victory over sin and death. It is a season of great celebration throughout Christendom, and the liturgical colour of white symbolizes purity and this celebratory mood. Christ’s ascension is celebrated 40 days after Easter on Ascension Day.
