WSCS: Risen Moms -

A community for mothers with young children

MOTHERHOOD IS HARD. To the mothers with young children, do you sense heaviness, and a need for your motherhood burdens to be lifted? A need for there to be less on your plate, less on your mind, less on your hearts? The WSCS presents ‘Risen Moms’, a community of mothers to provide support based on biblical truth, no matter how you feel about motherhood. It is for the imperfect mother, still learning, still growing and still fully recognising she does not have it all together, but we serve a God who does.

Join the first season of Risen Moms, as we come together to encourage, equip and challenge moms to apply the biblical truths to their everyday lives. Watch the video here.

  • Every Thursday 8.30pm to 9.15pm (11, 18, 25 Mar, 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 Apr 21)

D&N COURSE: Inclusion - Why the Church Needs People with Disabilities? (DN5)

We want to move further to establish the Kingdom of God. One way is to be more inclusive as a church by reaching out to people with disabilities. We want to be a church that includes everyone. The body of Christ includes people with different abilities. In this 2-hour seminar, we will:

  • Look at some biblical reasons for why the Church must include people with disabilities,

  • How persons with disabilities experience church, and

  • Think about practical ways in which a church can include people with disabilities.

We invite you to join us in this seminar so that we, as a church, can be equipped to reach out to people with disabilities and welcome them into the Body of Christ.

  • Saturday, 27 Feb 2021 / 10am -12nn

  • Cost: $5/pax

  • Venue: ZOOM (Link will be sent to registrants closer to date)
