SPIRITUAL FORMATION
COMPANIONS IN CHRIST : A SMALL GROUP EXPERIENCE IN SPIRITUAL FORMATION
CIC offers small groups a powerfully transforming experience in opening yourself to God’s presence and guidance over 28 weeks.
It will take you on a journey to:
· explore classic ways of meditating on Scripture, learn to listen to God through it and allow your life to be shaped by the Word;
· experience new dimensions of prayer, try fresh ways of opening to God and learn what it means to practice the presence of God;
· reflect on God’s call in your life and discover anew the gifts that God is giving you for living out your personal ministry;
· to grow together as a Christian community and learn how small groups in the church are to be settings for spiritual guidance.
Who will benefit from joining CIC?
· Christians who are wondering if there is “more” to the Christian life than what they already know.
· Christians who desire to bring a deeper dimension to their faith. Christians who desire and are serious about deepening their relationship with God.
· Christians who long for a safe small group to share their journey of faith and committed to growing together.
· Cell group leaders, assistant or potential leaders.
