What has Revelation to say about the time we are in? How do we make sense of the message in Revelation? Join us for this Webinar to hear from Rev Dr Tony Siew who will ZOOM in from Kota Kinabalu to lead us in this study. He has spent over ten years studying the Book of Revelation. He will help us to understand the book of Revelation and its contents concerning the End-Time events leading to the coming (again) of Jesus Christ. Dr Siew will help us understand how John structures the book within the triple series of seven (7 seals, 7 trumpets and 7 last bowls of wrath) in Rev 6-16. Special focus will be placed on the events of the last three and a half years which include the Great Tribulation, the Rapture, and the reign of the Antichrist called the Beast and his number, 666 and its impact on the world today (Rev 11-13)

Tony Siew is a pastor of Sidang Injil Borneo (SIB - Borneo Evangelical Church) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. He is a former lawyer, having practised law for 6 years before entering full-time ministry in 1994. He earned a PhD in Biblical Studies from Otago University, NZ (2003) and published his revised dissertation with T & T Clark in 2005. Among his recent publications are a commentary on John's Gospel (1-12) in Malay and a concise commentary on the Song of Solomon in English.

Guidance will be given to enter into this day of solitude and to help you be with God right where you are so that He can minister to you as you are. MEN’S MINISTRY 10TH ANNIVERSARY RETREAT
The Men’s Ministry is celebrating its 10th Anniversary since it started in year 2011.
It will be holding its annual retreat on 11 September 2021 from 7:45am to 12:00pm entitled COME & CELEBRATE.
It is calling men, not just from the Men’s Ministry, but all men from PLMC to come and celebrate of God’s goodness and His faithfulness to us.
Numerous men who had been through the series “The Quest for Authentic Manhood” have seen their lives been transformed since knowing their identity in Christ and their calling to be part of a growing group of men who are after God’s design for themselves and their families.
There will be a speaker session in this retreat and the speaker is none other than Mr Bernard Lee, who is anointed in leadership training.
COME & CELEBRATE will be conducted via online conference and it is free of charge.

BEFRIENDING SENIORS
This talk is beneficial for volunteers to be a befriender to seniors in our community. Topics covered will include understanding ageing, the roles of a befriender, effective communication with seniors and how to conduct a home visit with emotional support and the Dos and Don'ts.
The Speaker is Ms Sandra Foo, a Trainer and Nurse Educator. Sandra is a trained registered nurse with extensive experience in Acute Care Hospitals and the Home Care Sector. She is a regular speaker at the Corporate and Community Level and is committed to sharing useful caregiving knowledge and skills to caregivers to so enhance the quality of life for seniors.

WSCS: RISEN MOMS - A COMMUNITY FOR MOTHERS WITH YOUNG CHILDREN
MOTHERHOOD IS HARD. To the mothers with young children, do you feel a sense of heaviness, and a need for your motherhood burdens to be lifted? A need for less to be on your plate, less on your mind, less on your heart? The WSCS presents Risen Moms ministry, a community of mothers to provide support based on biblical truth, no matter how you feel about motherhood. It is for the imperfect mother, still learning, still growing, and still recognising she does not have it all together, but we serve a God who does.
Join Season Two of Risen Moms, as we come together to encourage, equip and challenge moms to apply the biblical truths to their everyday lives.
