PRAY FOR 40 DAYS OF BLESSINGS
Community Within
1. Thanksgiving
We thank God for guiding the 40DOB Committee under the leadership of Ps Vincent (Committee Chair) since last November. We also thank God for the close collaboration among the Committee members and ministry leaders. We are thankful that the 40DOB materials are ready to go into print. Pray that the labour of love would result in transformation of many lives and families both within and without the church.
2. Outreach Ministry
Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide and lead the cells in their planning for Project Safe Place – to identify whom and how to bless and develop meaningful partnership with our Outreach volunteers to bless our current outreach beneficiaries. Pray that the cells would carry out Project Safe Place with open minds (be inclusive), open hearts (project continuity), and open hands (generosity).
3. Cell Ministry
We thank God for the many church members and regular worshippers who have signed up to participate in 40DOB. Pray that every participant would be able to experience the five aspects of cell life – Welcome, Worship, Word, Wonder and Works – that are crucial in helping us grow to love God and others more each day.
Community at Large
1. Hawkers
Pray for more practical help and support be given to hawkers as many struggle to keep their stalls open, for the pandemic has significantly altered consumer habits, especially the younger ones who are now used to having food delivered to their doorstep.
2. Healthcare Workers
We thank God for healthcare workers all over the world who have worked long hours in stressful environments to care for those who have been infected by Covid-19 or suffering from other illnesses. Pray for their safety, renewal of strength and mind, and favour upon them. Pray that Christian healthcare workers would shine brightly where darkness seems to dominate the environment in which they work.
With the nation in heightened alert in our fight against the virus, we understand that there will be anxiety, frustration, sadness, anger, helplessness and a whole slew of other emotions.
As your pastors, we want you to know that we are here for you.

The PLMC Inner Healing Ministry helps individuals get to the root of things that are hindering their personal connection with God. This Ministry continues online every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm. Email requests to plihm@plmc.org
Care Hub is formed to support and journey alongside our members / worshippers whose lives and livelihoods have been affected by this crisis. The end goal of Care Hub is pastoral care, for someone to journey with them and remind them they are beloved of God and to find strength in God to face the challenges.
As each individual has different needs, Care Hub serves as a one-stop helpline where an individual can obtain support in the church in various areas. If you have been affected by this crisis, Care Hub is here to support you.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need to be a worshipper at PLMC to obtain help for Care Hub?
As long as you have been worshipping with us, either on-site or online, you are welcome to obtain help from Care Hub. We seek to journey with you as a family of faith during, and beyond, the COVID-19 period.
2. Is it compulsory for a Care Befriender to journey with me?
Yes, it is. We are not designed to journey alone. The church is the Body of Christ and each of us is a part of the body. Having a Care Befriender in this journey is to experience the community and interdependence of our Triune God. God is never alone; we need others too.
3. How long will the Care Befriender journey with me?
Each person has a different journey. Each journey is unique. In general, the Care Befriender will journey with you 3 – 6 months. Let these be a meaningful journey of deepening in God through the company of another.
4. Can I request for pastor to be my spiritual mentor/counsellor?
Yes, you can make the request, but we are all called to be a priesthood of believers hence most likely a mature believer will be assigned to journey with you. Trust that it is God’s hand that has led you thus far, and He will ensure that you are mentored or counselled by the right person with the necessary spiritual gifts for you.
5. I am not affected by COVID-19 but I need someone to talk to. Do I send my request through Care Hub?
No, Care Hub specifically caters to those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its ramifications. Please contact the relevant ministry that caters to your need directly. Contact details can be found at the end of this site, under ‘Our Ministries’.
COVID-19 has brought about an unprecedented economic crisis affecting lives and livelihoods. Yet, in every crisis, there is an opportunity to demonstrate Christian love and unity.

SAFE MANAGEMENT MEASURES UPDATE - 26 Jun 2021
In the midst of the pandemic darkness, our Lord exhorts us to be the light of the world, so let us shine brighter for Him even as we know He is in control and over the pandemic.
1. Resumption of Onsite English Services
We thank and praise God that the English and Mandarin onsite services will resume on Sun 4 Jul 2021. All onsite worshippers will have to be masked at all times and singing by the congregation is prohibited.
The English Service at 9am will exceed 50 worshippers (we are trying to maximise the capacity of the Sanctuary), while the English and Mandarin Services at 11.15am will be capped at 50 worshippers each.
In addition to registering to attend service, ALL worshippers at the 9am English Service will have to:
show proof of completed vaccination by the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine or the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine only (ie at least 14 days after their second dose as shown on the Covid-19 Vaccination Card or on the TraceTogether app),
or present valid Antigen Rapid Test Pre-Event Testing certificate (ie at least valid till 11am on Sunday, the link for the list of PET centres is https://www.moh.gov.sg/licensing-and-regulation/regulations-guidelines-and-circulars/details/list-of-covid-19-swab-providers);
come to church at least 15 minutes before service starts to facilitate checking.
This requirement is waived for the worshippers attending the English and Mandarin Services at 11.15am.
As the Sanctuary lift is closed for replacement, those who require lift access will attend the live streamed English Service at Jerusalem Room at 9am and should call the church office at 6100 7562 to make a phone booking. These worshippers will also need to show proof of vaccination or valid PET certificate.
The PLMC Reservation Portal at https://reservation.plmc.org will go “live” on Mon 28 Jun 2021 at 10.00am on a first-come-first-served basis.
2. Join Us for Online Services
We thank and praise God that we are still able to worship Him as a corporate body online with live streaming of our services. Please join us every Sunday for the live streaming of the 9.00am English Service at live.plmc.org, and the 11.15am Mandarin Service at ms.live.plmc.org.
3. Silver Boxes Goes Online

Starting this Sunday 16 May 2021, Silver Boxes will be moving to Zoom every Sunday at 11am (Except every 1st Sunday of the month). Our weekly lessons are still available online at bit.ly/SilverBoxesOnline.
