Thank You, Lord, For Singapore
We praise and thank you, dear God, for the many blessings You have poured out on our beloved country. May we be loyal citizens who work hard to maintain and better what our forefathers have sacrificed for. Make us a people of love, Father, that all will know that You are Lord over our land. In Jesus' name. Amen

Outreach
Thanksgiving:
We praise and thank God for the privilege and honour of partnering with Him in all the Outreach programmes and initiatives. May all that we do be pleasing to our Lord Jesus and may it bring Him all glory, honour and praise!
We thank God for the many migrant brothers who registered to join us for the National Day Celebrations on 8 August 2020. Do pray for God’s presence to be with all of us, a meaningful time of fellowship with all the brothers, smooth running of the programme over Zoom and for good health and protection over every migrant brother.
We give thanks and praise to God that we are now able to resume ministry at all the three St Luke’s Eldercare Centres, albeit over Zoom. We believe that God can and will work through and in all platforms. Please pray in agreement with us that each elderly will be touched by the love of God in powerful ways even when ministries are conducted online.
Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Needs:
1. In this season where most of our outreach ministries have gone virtual and face-to-face personal meet ups are lessened, we pray that the Lord will lead and equip all of us to share the gospel and to share our lives with others through creative and inspiring ways.
2. Pray for Friends of Jesus Ministry. Pray for the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us as we reach out to our friends on the street. Pray that as we befriend and mentor our friends who attends the Hokkien Cell Group on Sunday, that the Holy Spirit will continue to renew their minds and restore them back to the image of God. May God continue to anoint our PLMC family as we serve our friends.
Hebrews 13:21
… may He (the God of Peace) equip you with all you need for doing His will. May He produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to Him. All glory to Him forever and ever! Amen.
Relationships:
Please pray for all of PLMC’s Outreach Arms, Ministries, and also Partnering Agencies. May our relationships with each one of these groups grow in the Spirit and in strength, in love and unity in Christ. May we learn to honour one another in the way we lay down our interests to serve the interests of the people our Father wants us to love and serve. May we learn to work together and work out differences in a way that honours Christ as we learn to submit to one another in reverence of Him. Pray that in our submission to one another, we will experience joy complete – purpose, meaning, fulfilment and enjoyment in our partnership and service!
Ephesians 4:1-3
…. I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
Thank you for joining us in prayer!
Care Hub (English & Chinese)
Care Hub is formed to support and journey alongside our members / worshippers whose lives and livelihoods have been affected by this crisis. The end goal of Care Hub is pastoral care, for someone to journey with them and remind them they are beloved of God and to find strength in God to face the challenges.
As each individual has different needs, Care Hub serves as a one-stop helpline where an individual can obtain support in the church in various areas. If you have been affected by this crisis, Care Hub is here to support you.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need to be a worshipper at PLMC to obtain help for Care Hub?
As long as you have been worshipping with us, either on-site or online, you are welcome to obtain help from Care Hub. We seek to journey with you as a family of faith during, and beyond, the COVID-19 period.
2. Is it compulsory for a Care Befriender to journey with me?
Yes, it is. We are not designed to journey alone. The church is the Body of Christ and each of us is a part of the body. Having a Care Befriender in this journey is to experience the community and interdependence of our Triune God. God is never alone; we need others too.
3. How long will the Care Befriender journey with me?
Each person has a different journey. Each journey is unique. In general, the Care Befriender will journey with you 3 – 6 months. Let these be a meaningful journey of deepening in God through the company of another.
4. Can I request for pastor to be my spiritual mentor/counsellor?
Yes, you can make the request, but we are all called to be a priesthood of believers hence most likely a mature believer will be assigned to journey with you. Trust that it is God’s hand that has led you thus far, and He will ensure that you are mentored or counselled by the right person with the necessary spiritual gifts for you.
5. I am not affected by COVID-19 but I need someone to talk to. Do I send my request through Care Hub?
No, Care Hub specifically caters to those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its ramifications. Please contact the relevant ministry that caters to your need directly. Contact details can be found at the end of this site, under ‘Our Ministries’.
