Donors at BioLife Plasma can face a permanent ban after a false positive test result for hepatitis B or hep B. Your donor rights may be taken away if you show a positive result caused by a recent vaccination. False positives after vaccination can appear even if follow-up testing by your doctor is negative. Plasma centers including BioLife Plasma, CSL Plasma, Ked Plasma, Grifols, and Octapharma can leave this permanent deferral on the National Deferred Donor Registry (NDDR).
