Aiguilles du Jebel Saghro trek - 6 days

Located in the South East of Ouarzazate and on the Eastern part of the Anti-Atlas, this arid mountain range is the stronghold of the proud nomads Aït Atta who have marked the history between the valleys of Tafilalet and Draa and part of the Central Atlas.

In the heart of this ancient volcanic massif we have imagined a journey between gorges, needles, folds and peaks in Morocco. It is also the meeting with these nomads in the process of sedentarization among camps, hamlets and small villages.

A colorful discovery in this trek accompanied by mules for the transport of luggage, with for this crossing stages between 5 and 8 hours of walking per day.

Day 1: Marrakech -Ouarzazate – Tagdilte.

We leave Marrakech early in the morning via the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka-pass (2260m above sea level and the highest road pass of Morocco). After Ouarzazate. We discover the beautiful road of thousand kasbah and the roses valley, then we arrive to the little village of Tagdilte.

Overnighting at the lodge “gîte d’étape” of the village.

After meeting our muleteers en loading de mules. We start our hike on an easy path that takes us away from Tagdilte. Next we go up to the pass of Tizi n’Ouzarzame on an altitude of 2450m.
