Form your own group around common desires/abilities. We can help, but there's nothing like a group of 6 ski friends! Common ground often includes Adventure, social connection, and active fitness.
Monday CL/SK Groups April 20 - May 25 - (Classic XC AND Skate skiing/crust cruising - must have own skate gear)
Wednesday Classic Groups April 22 - May 27 - (Classic XC)
Tours are chosen based on conditions, weather and group desires. We'll carpool from Jackson after a gear check and topping off coffee, and return in 5-6 hours. Cost: $490 for the 6 week program

Our 6 week Locals Groups aim to develop skills, broaden horizons and bring together XC skiers in a fun and inclusive learning environment. Built around ADVENTURE, we strive to empower skiers to plan routes, navigate and routefind, and pull off amazing adventures!
Our approach is to provide Education on:
Preparation for BC Travel
Prep for responsible, informed use of the US Forest Service lands
Orientation to Outdoor Skills and Safety, including avoiding avalanche hazard by terrain recognition and route selection
Technique instruction for efficient travel on Cross Country Skiing: Skate skiing, Classic skiing, light touring equipment
Interpretation of natural and human history
We access infrequented, if not trackless, wild (ungroomed) snow, through easy, moderate or challenging terrain. We seek solitude, mindful movement and finding peace in nature.
What to bring: Small pack with water, food/snacks, appropriate dress for the conditions and temperatures, extra layers, sun protection.
Included: Tour, route selection/discussion, equipment selection/consultation and relevant discounts, instruction, emergency preparedness and guiding.
