Our camps are 4-day intensive courses with lodging/meals to develop skills, broaden horizons and bring together XC skiers in a fun and inclusive learning environment. Built around ADVENTURE, we strive to empower skiers to plan routes, navigate and routefind, and pull off amazing adventures!
Our approach is to provide Education on:
Preparation for BC Travel
Prep for responsible, informed use of the US Forest Service lands
Orientation to Outdoor Skills and Safety, including avoiding avalanche hazard by terrain recognition and route selection
Technique instruction for efficient travel on Cross Country Skiing: Skate skiing, Classic skiing, light touring equipment
Interpretation of natural and human history

Classic Cross Country Skiing
Diagonal Stride, Kick'n'Glide...the original and traditional type of skiing
Best for getting around, improving balance/skiing skills & overall fitness.
Go as easy or as hard as you want
Skate Skiing
The fastest of the XC options, on a groomed track, with superlight gear
Alpine skiers often like the speed.
Springtime Crust Cruising - a favorite among those in the know!
Adventure Cross Country / Light Touring
Like going on a hike on skis!...but you get to glide down
Get into the wild, and away from it all
Intermediate to Expert options available.
We access infrequented, if not trackless, wild (ungroomed) snow, through easy, moderate or challenging terrain. We seek solitude, mindful movement and finding peace in nature.
Included: Tour, route selection/discussion, equipment selection/consultation and relevant discounts, instruction, emergency preparedness, guiding and ridesharing.
What to bring: Small pack with water, food/snacks, appropriate dress for the conditions and temperatures, extra layers, sun protection
