There was a time when I had a hard time adjusting to a  new environment. I felt nervous because everything was new to me. I did not know many people, and I was afraid of making mistakes. Because of this, I became quiet and kept my feelings to myself.

One problem I had was feeling alone. I often worried about what other people thought of me. This made me lose confidence. However, there were also good things. I learned to be more independent and understand myself better.

To solve my problem, I tried to be more friendly and positive. I started talking to other people and asking for help when I needed it. I also reminded myself that making mistakes is normal. Slowly, I became more comfortable.

This experience was not easy for me. There were times when I felt like giving up. But I learned that problems can make us stronger. I learned to be patient with myself and to keep trying.

In the end, I was thankful for this experience because it taught me an important lesson. I learned that change can be difficult, but it can also help us grow. I want others to learn that they should not give up when they face problems. Keep trying, because difficult times can teach us valuable lessons. 

My name is Nerisa Rosas. I am a student that believes that every day is a new opportunity to learn and grow. I grew up in the Philippines where I spent my whole childhood with my family and friends and the people who influenced who I am today. My life wasn't always smooth sailing, but every experience helped me become the person I am now and will continue to help me be the best version of myself.

In my younger years, I would always spend most of my time with my family and friends, they would be there for me through happy and difficult times. As a student, there are certain parts in school I find difficult but I always push myself to be the best, for I believe education is the key to reach my dreams. With every achievement that I attain it motivates me to be better and every mistake is a reminder that I must keep learning. I am a type of person who is kind, respectable, and a determined student. I am interested to know more, meet new people, and acquire more skills. Even if I sometimes have to deal with hard times, I tend to maintain a positive mindset and consider it a great challenge that will help me improve.

 As for my future endeavors, I hope to complete my studies, find a job that can help my family financially and to make them proud. I believe it takes effort, patience and persistence to achieve it but I am willing to try my hardest. I also hope to be an inspiration to others by showing that anything is possible with faith and persistence. I believe that this is only the beginning of my life story and much more will come. Whatever happens, I will strive to learn from it all and be the best I can be.
