Preserved samples
Preserved samples
You will send your preserved samples to PIQv after evaluation of the workload by PIQv according to the requested analysis demand.
The samples will be imaged using the IFCB (coming soon), FlowCam or Zooscan laboratory imaging devices according to the size of the objects to be identified.
The sample metadata will be checked.
The images will be processed using the Zooprocess application and loaded into EcoTAXA*.
*This service does not include the classification of the images in EcoTAXA.

The taxonomic identification of the images loaded in EcoTAXA will be performed by the experts of the PIQv to the highest level of precision.
