Lesson Objectives:
Third graders will be able to identify pinch pots and the tools used to create them such as clay, paint, and hands, in an art classroom setting.
Third graders will execute basic art classroom pottery rules such as tidiness at the workspace and cleaning up when finished, in an art classroom setting.
Third graders will create a well-formed pinch pot out of air-dry clay to show mastery of beginner pottery skills in an art classroom setting.
Third graders will show beginner painting skills on textured subjects, such as clay, in an art classroom setting.
