When you're using air-dry clay, it can get very messy if you don't know basic rules about how to keep your area clean!
Basic Art Classroom Rules:
Do not run around in the room and be aware of where you are walking so you do not bump into other students or their artwork
Do not eat the air-dry clay/paint
Do not put anything in your mouth or face-area
Throw away your trash
Wash hands after you are done with your project
You will be using a wooden skewer to write your name on your pinch pot, do not use this as a weapon or anything other than a "pencil"
Be kind to others and their artwork
How to Stay Tidy While Using Clay:
Keep all clay, paint, and tools on your placemat at your workstation
Put paintbrushes back into the water when you are not using them
When you are fully done with paint and paintbrushes, wash the brushes off and put them into the "clean brush" container (leave closed paint at your workstation)
Wipe down your workstation with a wet towel when you are done with clay
**You will be assessed about if you are able to execute these safety/cleanliness skills while making your final project pinch pot**
