How to Paint on a Pinch Pot:

We will be using acrylic paint on our pinch pots once they have dried. You can paint your pot whatever colors you'd like. You can paint appropriate designs as well!

It is very easy to paint on a pinch pot or any air-dried clay piece. 

*Select the paint colors you like

* Paint those colors onto your pot

If you want to draw a design onto your pinch pot. Just draw the design on with a pencil and paint over it!

Painting Tips & Tricks:

• Do not put too much paint onto your brush. This will make your lines globby and messy. Lightly dab the brush into the paint. 

• If the paint is too messy in a certain area, use a paper towel to wipe it off. (Make sure to throw the towel away!) 

• Do not paint in a "streaky" manner. Cover the whole section evenly with paint. Unless this streaky design is intentional (and you tell me about it beforehand), this will count off on your final project. 

• Look at the rubric for what I'm expecting for your pinch pot. Make sure you paint neatly, but also make sure you clean up this paint by using the tidiness content tab tips.
