Keys found at the boat landing can be put in the red drop box at the landing OR brought to the gray house next to the boat landing, 1306 Old Rice Mill Rd.
There are limited parking spots at the boat landing. Here are some FYI Tips:
-The long parking spots are for boats/trailers, especially on busy days.
-If you don't have a boat/trailer, but need to park AND it is a busy boat day, the best place to park your car is:
In the grass by the white fence
Along Old Rice Mill Rd or Teal, but not blocking a neighbor's drive way
Consider where the boats will pull in and out and park in an area where you aren't going to get hit by a trailer.
-There is a gray-blue house next to the boat landing. The asphalt in front of their garage doors, outlined by a yellow line, is considered "non-possessive, exclusive use" parking to the owners of that home. (See the court documents) The GRASS next to the small dock is neighborhood/park property. It is long enough to park approximately 2 boats/ trailers or one big boat/trailer. Note: If you're looking at the photo associated with this post, the areas marked "park" and "boat ramp" are boat landing/neighborhood park areas. The plat is from 1950 and due to river changes, it may look a little different in real life, but you should be able to discern the general idea.
The full court document can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gFiV0sz2rThh6QNEDcdHyoVvmKY-nZhI/view?usp=sharing
-If all of the asphalt parking spots are full AND the area of grass is being used, boat owners typically park along side streets OR they park their trailer at their house and bring a golf cart back to the boat landing and park it in the grass somewhere.
-Please lock the lock behind you to ensure gate access if for residents only
-If you find a lost key, the gray house at the boat landing has the log for all key owners. You can stop by there and they can look up the owner of the key and verify that they still live in Pimlico.
-Please don't give your keys to friends or sell keys to non-residents. There just isn't enough parking and the wear and tear on the landing can be expensive. There are 3 public boat ramps nearby for friends and non-residents: Cypress Gardens, Bushy Park, and Tail Race.
