In this session, we will introduce our second campaign push, the SECURE Health Act. We will identify the best tactics and resources to navigate teams’ strategies in the current global health landscape and learn how to strengthen and sustain relationships with our members of Congress. 📍All Advocacy Leads and Team Coordinators are required to attend to fully understand new updates to our campaign, and all other team members are welcome to attend, as well.

We will recap Training Institute content, get familiar with existing resources, practice skills, and collectively find solutions to challenges related to recruitment, retention, and team education. We will also discuss tactics to build a strong intellectual community around organizing and social justice within Engage and in the broader global health space. 📍This session will be REQUIRED for Community Building Leads who did not attend Training Institute 2026 and open to all other CBLs, leads, and team members.

This training will cover network wide campaign timeline, personal fundraising and group event planning, and a review of all resources available for a successful fundraising campaign. Fundraising Leads are expected to participate, and Team Coordinators and other PIH Engage members are welcome to participate to discuss strategies and skills needed to lead our campaign. 📍All fundraising leads that did not attend Training Institute 2026 are required to attend this training.

Within this time period, each team should plan to host one Personal Fundraising Power Hour to strive towards reaching their personal fundraising goals. This will help us achieve our network wide goal to support PIH Malawi and their maternal and child health programs.
