Small Group Lead

Abbie has been involved with Engage since 2021 when she joined as a member of the Ohio State University chapter. She has been a coach since 2023, and is now in her second year on Core Team! Additionally, she leads the Cleveland City chapter. She works as a consultant, having started in the healthcare sector and now working in nonprofit fundraising. Outside of work and Engage, Abbie loves going to the gym, caring for her large collection of houseplants, shopping at antique stores, and going to the theater to see musicals!

Aleezay is from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she joined PIH Engage’s University of Michigan chapter in 2021.  She spent two years as a Team Coordinator with her university chapter and then served as a Network Leadership Team Coach through 2025. She is excited to return this year as an NLT Coach and continue supporting fellow Engagers across the network! Outside of PIH Engage, Aleezay is a third-year medical student at Michigan State University with interests in pediatrics, infectious diseases, and health policy. In her free time, she loves exploring new cafés, photography, and creating all types of art!

Grace graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in Global Health Studies and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Philanthropy, as well as Public Health. She recently graduated from Boston University with her Master of Public Health. During undergrad, Grace founded the Partners In Health Engage team at the University of Iowa and served as Team Coordinator for two years. This year, she is heading into her third year of coaching. In her free time, Grace enjoys watching sports, especially the WNBA and the Green Bay Packers, and taking care of her plants!

Grace currently coaches Engage teams at Creighton University, Florida State University, and University of Virginia Graduate School.

Meghana recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Public Health Sciences and a minor in Biochemistry, and this fall she will be starting her MSPH in Population, Family & Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

She has been involved with Partners In Health Engage since 2023, serving as Team Coordinator for the University of Michigan chapter, Fundraising Lead, and Delegation Facilitator for National Conferences. This year, she is thrilled to be serving on the National Leadership Team as a Coach, supporting college chapters in building sustainable advocacy, leadership, and community. Through Engage, she loved organizing congressional advocacy meetings, mentoring student leaders, and helping grow our movement for health equity.

Outside of Engage, she is passionate about women's health, health policy, and health equity. She also does ovarian cancer research, loves dancing (especially hip-hop and Bollywood), trying new coffee shops, and exploring new cities. She is always happy to chat about advocacy, medicine, public health, or just get to know fellow Engagers. She can't wait to meet everyone!

Olchey joined PIH Engage in Spring 2022 and served as Community Building Lead and Team Coordinator for the Colby College team. She graduated from Colby in 2025 and joined the NLT as a coach. This year she will be continuing to coach PIHE teams and very excited to be part of this amazing community. In my free time, she enjoys painting, and traveling.

Savannah's experience with PIH Engage started when she helped create a chapter at Haverford College. There, she was the Community Building and Education lead for two years. She graduated from Haverford this spring with a degree in Neuroscience, and upon graduating, transitioned to NLT. She is super excited to be a part of NLT and continue working with Engagers!

Amrita joined PIH Engage in 2021 as a member of the Trinity University team. She later served as the team’s Fundraising Lead for one year and as Co-Team Coordinator for two years before graduating with a B.S. in Neuroscience. After graduation, she served as a coach on the Network Leadership Team for one year and now serves as a member on the network’s Core Team. She is also a member of the Education Working Group. Amrita currently works in educational programming at The Health Museum in Houston, Texas.

Andrei is a UConn graduate and has been involved with Engage since his first year of college. Andrei was Fundraising Lead for UConn PIHE for 1 year before becoming a Team Coordinator for his last two years. This is his first year on Network Leadership Team! He is from Higganum, CT and is currently living in Hamilton, Montana, where he is working as a research fellow at Rocky Mountain Laboratories studying tick-pathogen-transmission. Andrei is passionate about organizing, community education, and outreach. In his free time, he is trying to read more books and learn how to play the harmonica.

Kailani began volunteering with the University of South Florida PIH Engage team as an Advocacy Lead before serving as Team Coordinator. She is now in her fourth year as a coach on the Network Leadership Team and a member of the Active Recruitment and Communications Working Groups this year. Kailani enjoys organizing with Engage because it gives her the opportunity to advance global health equity while empowering leaders to take action on the issues they care about. One of the most rewarding aspects of her coaching experience has been watching Engagers grow into confident advocates and create meaningful change in their communities. Outside of Engage, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and practicing yoga.

Kailani currently coaches Engage teams at Santa Clara University and the University of Nevada Reno.

Katelyn joined PIHE in 2022. She served as Vice-Team Coordinator for the University of Southern California team. She recently graduated from the University of Southern California with a double major in Human Biology B.S. and Human Development and Aging B.S., with a minor in Health Care Studies. Currently, she works as an ENT clinical research coordinator and on a separate project developing an AI Co-Ethnographer. Outside of work, she enjoys going to concerts, hanging out with friends, going on national park road trips, eating spicy food, and gaming!

Katelyn currently coaches Engage teams at the University of California Riverside and the University of Southern California.

Community Organizer for Advocacy

Kien is from Houston, Texas and he started on the Trinity University team in 2020, serving as the Community Building and Education Lead and then the Team Coordinator. In 2024, he interned with PIH Engage and also joined the Network Leadership Team, participating in the DEI Working Group and the Communications Working Group. He received a BA in International Studies and Global Health and is currently working as the Community Organizer for Advocacy for PIH. He lives in San Antonio, Texas and enjoys playing volleyball, cooking, and thrifting.

Vivien first joined PIH Engage in 2023 at the University of Texas at Dallas. Throughout their university career, they were the Fundraising Lead, then Team Coordinator for the chapter. This year, they are starting their first year coaching as part of the National Leads Team! Vivien graduated in May 2026 with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Sociology. They currently work in cognitive and sensory development for neurodivergent children. Outside of Engage, they enjoy gaming with friends, watching horror movies, and journaling. PIH Engage continues to be a supportive and encouraging space for Vivien, they are thrilled for what this year has to offer!

Small Group Lead

Hana is a member of Core on the PIH Engage Network Leadership Team, and has been organizing with PIH since 2023. She has a broad range of experiences in global health research and policy, including work with Physicians for Human Rights and on Capitol Hill. Currently, she works in public policy supporting the work of Federally Qualified Health Centers to expand health care access for rural and underserved communities. In her free time she enjoys sneaking in naps, live music (especially folk, americana, and indie), spending time outdoors, and cooking way more food than she can eat.

Hana currently coaches Engage teams at Boston City, the University of Iowa, and the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

Emily graduated from Boston College in May 2026 with a degree in Neuroscience and Medical Humanities. She first became involved with PIH Engage in 2022 as a member of the BC chapter; since then, she has served as an Education Lead, Secretary, and most recently, Co-Team Coordinator during the 2025-2026 campaign year. With hopes of pursuing a J.D./MPH, she is passionate about advancing the right to health through community-centered advocacy. In her free time, she loves dancing, watching true crime series, and ranking new spots on Beli.

Kylie has been involved with Partners In Health Engage since 2020, beginning as a member of University of Minnesota’s PIH Engage team. Throughout her undergraduate years, she served as Advocacy Lead and later as Co-Team Coordinator, developing a passion for grassroots organizing, health equity, and the movement for the right to health.

After graduating, she continued her involvement with PIH Engage as a Leadership Coach, supporting and mentoring organizers as they developed their teams, leadership skills, and advocacy efforts. Her experiences with PIH Engage have strengthened her commitment to building collective power and advancing equitable access to healthcare.

With a background in psychology, neuroscience, biomedical sciences, and aspiring physician, she is especially passionate about connecting science, healthcare, and advocacy to address the structural inequities that shape health outcomes. She is excited to continue growing within the PIH Engage community and working alongside others committed to creating a more just and equitable world.

Kylie currently coaches Engage teams at Emory University, Santa Monica High School, and the University of Notre Dame.

Lena is a senior at the George Washington University, where she is studying Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy and minors in Public Health and Human Services and Social Justice. She has been part Engage since 202e and served as Team Coordinator of the GW Engage team for two years. This year, she is excited to join the National Leadership Team as a coach for the first time and continue supporting student advocates across the network. Outside of Engage, Lena enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, experimenting with new recipes, and going to the gym or practicing yoga.

Rachel first got involved with PIH Engage while she was an undergraduate at the University of Connecticut, where she became the team's Advocacy Lead for one year and later on the Team Coordinator for two years. Following her graduation from UConn in 2024, she began coaching with the Network Leadership Team. She enjoys working with the teams she coaches and helping new people come into the movement as a part of the Active Recruitment working group. Outside of coaching, she is a medical student at the UConn School of Medicine. 

Rachel currently coaches Engage teams at Princeton University and the University of Connecticut.

Ria is originally from Houston, TX and now calls Washington, D.C. home. She recently graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Public Health, where she spent four years with the Engage team, including one year as Advocacy Lead. That experience sparked her passion for global health advocacy and led her to pursue a Master’s in Public Health at George Washington University, focusing on Global Health & Epidemiology. This is Ria’s first year on NLT, and she’s excited to give back to the Engage network.

Queeny started the University of Florida Engage Team, where she earned a BS in Health Sciences with a minor in Health Disparities in Society. After leading a PIH Engage team for two years, she transitioned into coaching other teams as part of the Engage Network Leadership Team. Shortly after, she joined PIH as a staff member for Engage and used her time to organize our fundraising campaign and onboard new teams.

Amanda is from Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from WashU in St. Louis in 2025 with degrees in Chemistry and Global Health. She co-founded the WashU PIH Engage team in 2023 and served as Advocacy Lead and TC before joining NLT as a coach last year. She is incredibly excited to continue organizing for the right to health alongside this amazing network!

Athul is a rising senior from Frisco, Texas, studying computer science at Texas A&M University. He served as Team Coordinator of the Texas A&M PIH Engage Chapter for 2 years before transitioning to Texas State Captain. He now serves on NLT as a coach and is part of the Active Recruitment working group. In his free time, Athul loves traveling (he is currently studying abroad in Rome!) and going to art museums.

Athul currently coaches Engage teams at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, the University of South Florida, and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

Ishika is a MS1 at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities medical school. She has been part of PIH Engage for the last 4 years and coaching for 2. Before being on NLT she was the CB&E lead at the University of Minnesota PIH Engage chapter. She loves Engage so much and is so excited for the work that the network is doing this year.

Shriya first got started in PIH Engage as the Team Coordinator of the Engage team at Seven Lakes HS. In 2023, she became the Advocacy Lead at Rice University and later served as the Team Coordinator. Her research on pediatric patient outcomes and non-medical drivers of health propels her dedication to achieving health justice across all communities. She is thrilled to continue her involvement as a coach and share perspectives to guide Engage teams throughout this campaign year. Outside of Engage, Shriya loves hiking and looks forward to exploring the Norwegian fjords during her time abroad this fall!

Stuti is based in Minneapolis, MN and started with Engage during her undergrad with the University of Minnesota team (go Gophers!). After graduating, she joined the NLT and is now coaching for her third year. She loves how PIH's space offers growth and learning about health advocacy with each other. In her free time, she likes listening to podcasts (currently into Armchair Expert and the Giggly Squad) and is getting into running.

Manager of Grassroots Strategy

Small Group Lead

Sam is currently the Manager of Grassroots Strategy at PIH, a coach, and core leadership team member. She has been in the PIH Engage network since 2016, having founded and TC'd the Case Western Reserve University team. She has also been a registered nurse since graduating from CWRU in 2021, and she works in respite care with the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. In her free time she is cooking, crafting with friends, or social dancing!

Sam currently coaches Engage teams at Berry College, Case Western Reserve Univerity, and Harvard University.

Imran has been involved in PIH Engage since 2020, originally serving as the team coordinator for the Trinity University chapter in San Antonio, TX. After graduating in 2022, he joined the network leadership team as a coach for two years—the first spent while a harm reduction outreach worker and the second in his first year of medical school in Chicago. He then went on to help start the University of Chicago chapter and served as its first TC. While he took a break during the 2025-2026 campaign year to complete his clerkship year of medical school, Imran is very excited and motivated to be back in action organizing for the human right to healthcare. In addition to Engage, he is passionate about infections, addictions, and wounds, but outside of medicine you can talk to him about coffee, volleyball, and audio.

Mattie is a third-year medical student at KU Med and helped start the chapter, serving as the first Advocacy Lead. She is from Kansas City, KS and went to undergrad at Gordon College in Wenham, MA before a few gap years working in Zimbabwe and Boston. She plans to apply to pediatrics residency and work in global health as a neonatologist or ID doc. Her hobbies include climbing rocks, reading, seeking out live music, and any activity on a mountain!

Prudny is going into his third year as a coach with the NLT. During this time, he’s helped out in the DEI (now Education) working group. He became involved with Engage at the University of Florida, where he studied Public Health and Geography.  On the UF Engage team he served as a Team Coordinator and Fundraising Lead. He now works as GIS Analyst in Bradenton, FL. In his free time he enjoys baking and discovering new music.

Rebecca is a first-year NLT coach and former member of the Haverford/Bryn Mawr PIH Engage team, where she served as a Community Building and Education Lead. She graduated from Haverford College in May 2026 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Health Studies. Originally from outside Boston, Rebecca now lives in St. Louis, where she works in the Healthier Futures Lab at WashU’s School of Public Health before attending medical school. Outside of Engage, Rebecca loves hiking and spending time outdoors with friends.

Tanvi is super excited for her first year as Coach on NLT, after having served as Advocacy Lead and later, co-TC for the CWRU team! Her involvement in Engage is rooted in her upbringing in India, which shaped her belief that one region’s public health burden is not separate from another’s. Now, she lives in Chicago with her family, working as a clinical research assistant, studying lifestyle interventions in Alzheimer’s disease. Outside of work, Tanvi enjoys listening to dinosaur podcasts and exploring all the incredible food Chicago has to offer!

Zoe has been organizing with Engage for the last six years since she joined the team at Bellaire High School. She started the UT Dallas team in 2022 and has been a coach on the NLT since 2024. Zoe is from Houston and just moved to Baltimore where she is currently a medical student at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. In her free time, Zoe loves to read, bake, and explore coffee shops.

My name is Jack and I'm from Cottage Grove, Minnesota. I just graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in public health. Last year in college, I was the Team Coordinator for the 2025-2026 campaign year. I'm currently interning at a local health department and learning how to do food safety inspections and working on extreme heat preparedness. In my free time, I like to hike and watch movies.

Jordan has been part of PIHE for seven years, first at Case Western Reserve University and for the last four years with the NLT. She lives in New York and works in medical humanities. Outside of PIHE, Jordan loves cooking breakfast with her roommate, her weekly Wednesday night reading routine, swimming, and drinking hot coffee year round. She’s excited to continue coaching this year—Engagers are some of her favorite people anywhere and she can't wait to keep learning from everyone as we fight for a better world (and giggle with each other along the way)! This year, Jordan is coaching the New York and Washington DC city teams.

Srilekha is originally from Indiana (go Hoosiers!) and is a senior at the University of Southern California. She’s been with engage for over 3 years, 2 of which were as an advocacy lead for the USC team. She’s excited to serve in a new position as a coach. Srilekha loves to read, travel, and make bad jokes! Most importantly, she loves connecting and having fun with fellow Engagers.
