Ingegnere finanziario presso BPER Banca, dove si occupa principalmente della valorizzazione di prodotti finanziari strutturati e del calcolo delle relative misure di rischio dal 2009.
Professore a contratto presso la Laurea Magistrale in Economics and Data Science di UNIGE, dove insegna programmazione statistica e Tecniche quantitative per la gestione del rischio.
E' docente presso la 24Ore Business School nei master "Credit Risk Management" and "Data science, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in Finance" e presso la European School of Banking Management nel master "Risk, Compliance e Controlli Interni".
Ha conseguito due dottorati di ricerca: il primo in Ingegneria matematica nel 2013 ed il secondo nel 2021 in Economia approfondendo tematiche di ricerca in ambito dei settori scientifici "Metodi Matematici dell'Economia" ed "Economia degli Intermediari Finanziari".
Nel mese di luglio 2022 ha completato un Executive MBA, discutendo la tesi "Essay on Banking Credit Management and Measurement".
Nel corso della carriera presso l' Amministrazione e finanza ha conseguito diversi Master, tra cui si citano: Banking and Financial Diploma, CIIA, CESGA e CIWM.

Pier Giuseppe Giribone is a Financial Engineer at BPER Banca, where he has been working since 2009, in particular handling the valuation of structured financial products and the calculation of their risk measures. Pier is also an Adjunct Professor at UNIGE in the Master’s Degree «Economics and Data Science».
He has earned two PhDs: the first one in 2013 in Mathematical Engineering and the second one in 2021 in Economics, analyzing research topics in the scope STAT-04/A: Mathematical Methods in Economics and ECON-09/B: Economics for Financial Intermediaries.
In July 2022, he completed an Executive MBA, discussing his thesis «Essay on Banking Credit Management and Measurement».
Besides, while working for the bank, he has completed further master courses, among which: Banking and Financial Diploma, CIIA, CESGA and CIWM.
Pier cooperates as a lecturer with “24 Ore” Business School for the master courses “Credit Risk Management” & “Data science, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in Finance” and with the “European School of Banking Management” for the master course “Risk Management, Compliance and Internal Audit”.
He has written more than 50 papers which were published in scientific magazines.
Finally, Pier has also been a reviewer for the American Mathematical Society (AMS) since 2020, as well as a referee for several international scientific journals, among which Springer Verlag and Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence.
