PictoQuest brings live color enhancement to Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. Look at a rock surface through passthrough while trying enhancement presets that can make subtle differences in pigment and stone color easier to inspect. The app uses headset camera frames to adjust the view as you look around.
Choose an enhancement preset and change its strength. Select how much of the scene the app samples, switch between a full view and a focused spotlight, or lock an enhancement while you inspect a surface.
Choose 2D video of the enhanced view or 3D side-by-side video from the headset cameras. You start and stop each recording. Video files are saved on the headset in Movies/PictoQuest. The 2D capture flow asks for Horizon OS screen-sharing approval.
Enhancement can emphasize natural texture, lighting, and camera artifacts as well as possible markings. Compare results with the unenhanced view and your own observations. PictoQuest cannot determine the age or authenticity of a mark.
