The third Interhouse sports competition has now come to a close with the winning house Davinci dominating the points league when all points from all year groups had been added together.

YEAR 10 BiCyCLE AWARENESS
YEAR 10 BiCyCLE AWARENESS
Last week the students from year 10 took a trip to the BICIESCUELA, an organisation in Elche aimed to improve their bicycle awareness.
All student attended an awareness seminar which highlighted the main points concerning personal safety whilst cycling in around urban and non urban areas.
They then practices these skills in the purpose built mini-park at the training center complete with roundabouts and traffic lights before being taken on a police guided tour in Elche using the abundance of dedicated cycle paths the city has to offer.

GOLF UNIT-YEAR 9
This 16th of October, year 9 students have started their unit of golf. Golf has been implemented in the curriculum since last year. Students will be working in a module of 4 consecutive weeks. They have a fantastic opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the game, culture and context of golf. You can check some of the photos from their first lesson at Escuela de Golf en Elche.

GREAT PERFORMANCE FROM NEWTON SWIMMERS
We would like to congratulate all of our students that participated in a fantastic swimming event organized by Kings College Murcia. We are especially pleased to have 2 fantastic swimmers in our team, Manuel Barragán and Adrián Rubio. Both of these swimmers performed to the highest standards and enjoyed every minute of the event. Adrián won 6 medals and Manuel won 4 medals.
Congratulations to them and the swimming team.
