Under the divine blessings of Sri Sri Lord Dr. Prakashnatha Swamiji, and with the constant guidance of our visionary Principal Dr. Malini M Dutta, the badminton squad of BGS National Public School, Hulimavu, dominated the court at the Inter-School Sports Tournament held at Jain International Residential School on August 5 and 6, 2026. Displaying exceptional agility and match control, Evan Dexter Fernandes captured the Class 10 & Below Singles title, followed by Akshaj Gatty as Runner-Up in an all-BGS NPS final, while Ruben Mathews and Pranay earned 2nd and 3rd Runner-Up finishes in Class 12 & Below Singles. To cap off the outstanding campaign, Evan Dexter Fernandes and Ruben Mathews paired up to secure the Class 12 & Below Boys Doubles championship, officially crowning BGS NPS Hulimavu as the overall Champion Team - Boys. Congratulations to our talented shuttlers for bringing home the ultimate trophy!

With the divine blessings of Pujya Sri Sri Dr. Prakashnatha Swamiji and the able guidance of our Principal, Dr. Malini M. Dutta, BGS NPS, Hulimavu, proudly celebrates the extraordinary triumph of our talented badminton players at the BGS IRS KRIDAVAIBHAVA 2026, held at BGS International Residential School from 2nd September 2026 to 3rd September 2026. Demonstrating remarkable grit, tactical precision, and high-octane sportsmanship, our young athletes delivered stellar performances in the Under-17 category. Evan Dexter Fernandes and Ruben Mathews clinched the Winners trophy with an outstanding Gold Medal performance in the Under-17 Boys Doubles category, while Rukshi and Joshika displayed commendable agility and skill to secure the Runner-Up title with a Silver Medal in the Under-17 Girls Doubles category. Hearty congratulations to all the champions and participants for bringing pride to the institution, and sincere kudos to Badminton Coaches Mr. Suhas J P, Mr. Anand Shahi, and Mr. Sunilkumar H B for their relentless dedication, hard work, and outstanding coaching strategies that paved the way for this glorious achievement.
