Phreaker Life 1.2 Release Notes

Phreaker Life 1.2 improves game quality, playing performance, cipher challenge reliability, as well as, corrections for reported issues. Damn!

This is our first official release notes, if you are looking for a comparative of previous versions, try harder.

For detailed information on actual improved Phreaker Life features, they are somewhere in this website. If you can't find them, it's because we either forgot to do them, or got lazy.

Release Date June 2nd, 2018.

Requirements

Phreaker Life 1.2 requires you to physically have access to a deck of cards. This is a best practice of hardware minimum requirements.

Additions

None. We know you really wanted something new, but we are holding out.

Fixes

Let's start with Oops!

  • Card 053 / 080 had the secret message font increased to compensate for ink bleed. This fix was applied to all of it's rarity types. Which really sucked to fix, since you didn't ask. Suggested by Sakebomb.
  • Card 079 / 080 had the secret message font increased to compensate for ink bleed. This fix was applied to all of it's rarity types. Making this change 4 more times added to the suckosity. Suggested by Sakebomb.
  • Card 053 / 080 had the secret message changed to adjust for some peoples inability to hack repetitiously. Basically dumbing it down. This fix was applied to all of it's rarity types. See above notes for suckiness.
  • Card 079 / 080 had the secret message changed to include a missing letter 'I', which somehow disappeared enroute to the printer. We don't take ownership for our mistakes. Just like our parents. This fix was applied to all of it's rarity types. Someone here sucked, we just don't know whom yet. Found by anonymous.
  • Card 001 / 080 had an incorrect background. The correct background should have been Blue. This fix was applied to all of it's rarity types. Now we've just helped increased the value of your purchase. You're welcome. Found by Heal.
  • One piece of Builder puzzle art was missing a cipher symbol. This has been addressed via social media and future printings. Actually, it was intentional to increase cipher difficultly. We just "raised" your skillz. Found by Sakebomb.
  • Card 015 / 080 had a typo that has been corrected. This fix was applied to all of it's rarity types. Found by F4r4d4y. There was some suck factor here, but not much.
  • Card 075 / 080 had a typo that has been corrected. This fix was applied to all of it's rarity types. Found by F4r4d4y. See above for suck factor.
  • This bullet point was intentionally left blank.
