Parents can meet education needs by encouraging play, language and literature acquisition and creativity.
Ensuring the dependant attends school and completes set work.
Adequate standard of living
Parents are expected to provide their dependant with food, shelter and clothing.
Sense of identity
Develop confidence and self esteem of the dependant. For example; a dependant with a disability. The carer may help them become apart of everyday life activities again.

Providing educational opportunities that potentially set the dependent up for future employment. Teaching the necessary skills.
