With backgrounds in Natural Resources, our family values consist of conserving resources and promoting social equity as we think about the future generations.   

As we build this business for the community, we have thought in detail about how we conserve resources, balance social and economic needs, and consider how our actions don’t diminish future opportunities.

Current efforts include:

• Purchasing thrift and gently used furnishings when we can.   

• Using environmentally friendly (and people friendly) products in our space.

• Creating a bathroom for anybody.  (Just wash your hands! lol)

• Going paperless (where possible)

• Recycling!

• Ditching the plastic (where possible)

• Keeping our HVAC, water systems, and appliances in good working and efficient order

• Unpluging and turning off electronics when not needed or when business is closed.

• Work with sustainable suppliers;

  • Picking local products and business’

  • Picking business’ that also value sustainability practices
