Outstanding Employer Award

The PEZA Outstanding Employer Award will be given to PEZA locators to recognize their exemplary performance in providing decent jobs, continue to generate employment opportunities regardless of status, age, sex and race. And more importantly, promote harmonious relationship between employee-management in the workplace, recognizing the principle of shared responsibility as enshrined in the Philippines Constitution and Philippine Labor Code. 

Qualifications

• All PEZA Registered Companies, excluding those who have already been elevated to the Hall of Fame for the Outstanding Employer Award.

• Compliant with required reportorial requirements.

Criteria

The below evaluation criteria will be used to rank and rate the RBEs: 

• EMPLOYMENT GENERATION AND FACILITATION (EGF, EOP) - 40% 

This dimension measures the organization’s ability to consistently grow its workforce, retention of workers, and provide employment opportunities. It emphasizes inclusive hiring practices (such as hiring PWDs, marginalized sectors, senior citizens, and LGBTQI, etc.,) and active involvement in job fairs and employment facilitation programs. High performance in this area indicates strategic workforce planning and a socially responsible approach to employment generation. 

• OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE RELATIONS PROGRAM (OERP) - 30% 

This dimension evaluates the strength and quality of internal employee relations. It includes the frequency and effectiveness of labor-management dialogues, the presence and proactive use of grievance mechanisms, handling labor cases/issues, and employee recognition initiatives. A high rating here reflects a positive workplace culture where employees feel engaged, valued, and supported.

• GOOD CORPORATE CITIZEN (GCC) - 30% 

This dimension focuses on the organization’s commitment to community, labor compliances, and environmental responsibility. It measures the number and impact of CSR initiatives, awards and recognition received related to labor compliance, quality and responsive in addressing internal client feedback and compliance with statutory reporting requirements. High scores here show an organization recognized for exemplary corporate responsibility, both externally and internally.
