The Outstanding Ecozone Logistics & Services Award recognizes exceptional logistics and service enterprises within the PEZA Economic Zones that have demonstrated excellence in operational efficiency, innovation, and contribution to the seamless functioning of the ecozone. This award honors companies that have consistently delivered high-quality logistics solutions, facilitated robust supply chain management, and supported the overall growth and success of businesses within the ecozone.
Awardees are chosen based on their ability to enhance the flow of goods, services, and resources, streamline operations, and provide innovative and sustainable solutions. They must also demonstrate a strong commitment to compliance with environmental and regulatory standards while fostering positive relationships within the ecozone community.
This prestigious award highlights the pivotal role that logistics and service enterprises play in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and advancing the development of ecozones as thriving hubs for business and industry.
Up to date submission of reportorial requirements;
No outstanding violations, sanctions, or non-compliance issues; and
No outstanding account with PEZA
To be eligible for the Outstanding Logistics Partner of Exporters Award, ELSEs will be assessed base on the following:
1. Support to export enterprises
1.1 Gross Sales made to export enterprise clients
Average gross sales on goods/services (indirect/logistics sales) made to export enterprises, excluding sales made to likewise ELSE or foreign client) over the last 3 years. The financial performance is an indicator of a company’s capacity to sustain operations and grow within the logistics sector.
1.2 Number and Size of Facility used in its Operations
Number. of warehouses/facilities registered with PEZA and size of each facility/warehouse (in sq.m) used in its operations, excluding the area subleased to other RBEs.
1.3 Employment/Job creation (Direct and indirect)
Total number of employees for all registered warehouses/facilities
2. Innovation and Technology Integration
Recognizes efforts to improve operations/services through innovation and use of technology
3. Risk Management, Business continuity and Safety Compliance
Assesses maturity and preparedness, including operational tenure
4. Service Performance and Operational Excellence
Reflects capability and consistency in delivery, which impacts client trust and long-term value. On-time delivery rate and service fulfillment accuracy (no negative feedback from export enterprise clients
The recipients of this award will be selected by PEZA based on its established criteria and evaluation process.
