PEYAK ASKI
Welcome to Peyak Aski
Peyak Aski means One Land in Cree.
Our background is Cree First Nation and Metis. This is a family business of three generations of healers and knowledge keepers.
Our ancestry going back seven generations is comprised of medicine men and women, ceremonial lodge facilitators /conductors, and healers.
Our gifts come from our innate connection to life,
and the knowledge passed down through the generations.
Re-awakening our connection to Life.
We as a people have suffered a great disconnection, a separation. Keeping us apart from each other and from life. We have forgotten our true connection to nature and the purity of love. It is this disconnect that has driven us into an endless search for ourselves, it created the disharmony and despair within our souls. The endless pursuit for truth and happiness…
Our teachings are about remembering that we are connected to the sacred, pure love, the Creator! We are nature, we are made from nature, we are not separate.
Re-aligning our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual energies to nature, to our sacred Mother Earth. Understanding our connection to the elements, earth, air fire and water. Honoring our connection with the plants, trees, animals, and re-establishing our relationships with ourselves and others.
Discovering the sacred relationships we once had. Remembering we are Earths children; she is our mother. All the elements of nature create life. Opening ourselves to the divine mystery of Creator. Embracing the ancestral teachings of Love, Kindness, Honor, Respect, Gratitude, Laughter, and Innocence.
Remember, we came here to create beauty, harmony, and peace. To experience the abundance of life, the dynamics of relationships with all life and the natural flow of love. To walk the good red road and do no harm.
Our traditional teachings are a guide to the re-awakening of our connection to the oneness of life!

Land Acknowledgment
We acknowledge that we are gathered on Treaty 6 lands, a part of the traditional territories and home land of the many First Nations, Metis and Inuit in Alberta. We are grateful for our Ancestors, this ancestral land we live upon and for the wisdom, knowledge and stories passed down through the generations.
Truth and Reconciliation
In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, it is important for all to come together to learn the truth of our history and traditions. Advocating education, awareness and understanding, so we may all go forward on a path of healing and reconciliation.
