Weekly Challenge

January 4

It is now the new year! Welcome 2021! As we start off this year with online learning, we bring back our weekly challenge. Over the past couple of weeks, given we have had a break, some of us may have been a little lazy, and that is okay! Mr. Hamilton was lazy too. So, our challenge for this week is to get back to being active EVERYDAY! Take some time to go for a walk outside, maybe a ski, even the disc golf course! If you want to stay inside, try a quick workout, or one of the activities that are on this website from last year. Whatever you choose to do, BE ACTIVE!

Another beautiful sunny day to start our week! This week, your challenge is to get outside and PLAY! Reading outside is great, and going for walks is awesome, but your challenge is to get outside and play everyday! Go be goofy, play at a playground, ride your bicycle, anything you want!

And, as I said last week, I would update you on what I was thankful each day last week.

Monday - Thankful for friends and family that I can be with!

Tuesday - Thankful for being able to enjoy the outdoors!

Wednesday - Thankful for a relaxing day!

Thursday - Thankful I was able to go play disc golf with a friend!

Friday - Thankful for an awesome week and that I made cookie dough to eat!

June 1

Welcome to June! It has been a long time since we have seen each other, and making sure we are staying home can be tough. We miss our friends, playing outside, our teachers, and some of us even miss school! But even though there are a lot of things we miss, this is a time to try new things and do the things we may not have time for. Your challenge this week is to find something everyday that you are thankful for. So, each evening before you go to bed, think about what happened in your day, and find something that you were glad happened. you can write it down, or share it with your parents! I will share what I am thankful for throughout the week as well!
