Today's Workout Wednesday is a core workout. Having a strong core is important in every aspect of our lives. It helps us play games, it helps us balance while we sit, stand, and move, and it helps us keep from getting injured.
There are 4 exercises in today's workout:
Horizontal leg lift
Bicycles
Vertical leg lift
Crinches
For each exercise, do as many as you are years old, and when you are done all 4, take a rest and do it again!

Workout Wednesday today is about stretching. Click the button to the left to go to the Stretching page that has a video and photos of some stretches to do!
Today's workout is a Pyarmid Workout! We start with high repetitions and an easy exercise, and build our pyramid up to less repetitions and a hard exercise! After we go up, we have to work our way back down.
Another HIIT workout! This time, you perform the 4 exercises for 10 seconds, doing as many as you can in that time! After we get through all 4, we rest, and then do it again. We do 4 sets of it!
If you want to do more, go ahead. If you want to make it harder, increase the amount of time from 10 seconds to 15 seconds. You can even change the exercises if you want!

Our Workout Wednesday this week will be a little different... We are doing a This or That workout! This workout is brought to you by Lindsey Lewis, a Phys. Ed. teacher as well. I tried to create a video myself, but I do not have the technological know-how at this time... so I spent all morning recording and uploading and trying different things, but none of it worked... so, enjoy her video!
HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. You workout out really hard for a short amount of time, then you rest, then you do it again. Since this is our first HIIT workout, we are keeping it simple. We have 4 exercises to do, and the amount of repetitions you do for each exercise is how many years old you are.
