Just a girl from Mumbai is the creation of Bhavna Kalra - a Sydney based blogger who started journaling her connection with food as a way to ease the ache of missing her Mumbai home.
I had the opportunity to help Bhavna make her dream of working with food by creating The Modern Desi brand.
- Developed the website (content, design elements, UX/UI) with the help of WordPress developers with Woocommerce elements.
- Created the "Brand" including the logo, the story, the personality of the brand and content topics to make sure that the Brand is consistent.
- Developed the business plan to launch services - starting with The Modern Desi Dinners to market events to get her cooking and food into the world.
- Created an influencer marketing strategy, which involves working with food bloggers and advocates in Sydney, including Masterchef Contestants.
- Marketing campaign - FB and Insta ads, email marketing, public relations and campaign offers to encourage attendance to the The Modern Desi events.
- Fully booked first two Dinner events
