I have over 15 years of events management that started with Oxfam Australia, managing a State event through to 10 international MoodleMoot conferences yearly at Moodle.
Here are some of my events management highlights.
Events Management Highlights
- Oxfam Australia - managed 8 events across Western Australia - for the 40th Walk Against Want event, which was all fully sponsored. The event saw a 150% increase in sponsorship and 250% in income raised.
- Department of Indigenous Affairs - managed the launch and awards ceremonies of the PALS Schools Reconciliation Awards, together with the City of Fremantle for over 5000 people, the Federal Apology to the Stolen Generation in 9 locations throughout WA, launched the State's first Reconciliation Action Plan.
- ACARA - managed 32 face to face consultation events throughout Australia, with 300 participations for each event. Launched the My School website event with the then DPM, Julia Gillard.
- David Wirrpanda Foundation - a fashion fundraising and cocktail event at Government House Ballroom, with 600 tickets purchased and only $5000 budget.
- Fiona Stanley Hospital - organised all the milestone events such as the first turning of the soil, the opening of the Mental Health ward and also community consultation events.
- Small business launch events - for Knutsford Gourmet, BAAN BAAN Perth and more.
- Moodle - the events management and direction for 10 MoodleMoot events per year in the US, Europe, UK/Ireland, South Africa, India, Australia, South America, each running up to 3 days with approximately 300 attendees each conference.
