Interviewer: Your reports from Operation Sapphire Maw contain details beyond the scope of conventional intelligence. You encountered something unusual, didn’t you?

Nighthall: I don’t pretend to understand it. We seized artifacts that made grown men bleed from the eyes and forget their own families. My team wasn’t prepared for that. I flagged the site as anomalous and marked it for higher authority intervention. Someone cleaned it up before SID could react.

Interviewer: That was us. You demonstrated more than just competence. You showed discretion, clear thinking under pressure, and an understanding that most field agents wouldn’t have even recognized. We’re offering you something different. A position where threats like this are handled directly. You won’t be bound by national law anymore. You’ll be working under global security law.

Nighthall: You’re from the Foundation, aren’t you?

Interviewer: You already know that.

Nighthall: I suspected something larger was behind the curtain. My team didn’t ask questions when the extraction unit arrived. We’re trained not to. But I’ve seen enough to know my country isn’t the only player on the board.

Interviewer: We don’t make this offer to many people. You’ll be placed within our Internal Security Department. You’ll have tools, intelligence and authority that go beyond anything you’ve worked with before. It won’t be easy. This isn’t public service. This is preservation of humanity.

Nighthall: Where do I sign?

Interviewer: Right here. Fingerprint and retinal scan. From this point on, your work falls under Global Security Statute 7A. You’ll operate with full internal jurisdiction.

Foundation Career Milestones 

21 March 2024 – 20 April 2024

ISD Agent

Assigned to Site-65’s Internal Security Department with Level 3 provisional clearance. Tasked primarily with investigating internal corruption and misconduct within Foundation operations. Participated in counterintelligence operations targeting suspected insider threats and security breaches. Successfully identified and neutralized a foreign intelligence asset embedded within the Foundation’s security infrastructure, fast-tracking consideration for higher responsibility. 

21 April 2024 – 17 June 2024

ISD Inspector

Promoted within one month and granted full Level 4 clearance. Shifted focus towards high-level legal tribunals and internal investigations against Clearance Level 4 personnel suspected of misconduct, anomalous collusion, or breach of ethics. Led Operation Mengele  which dismantled a massive embezzlement scheme within the research department of Site-65. Oversaw multiple internal tribunals involving personnel accused of gross negligence, breaches of containment protocol, and unauthorized anomalous interactions. 

18 June 2024 – 12 September 2024

Ethics Committee Assistant

Appointed as liaison and legal advisor to the Ethics Committee. Assisted in deliberations on Protocol, focusing on humanoid anomaly rights, experimental ethics violations, and reviews of containment policies affecting sentient SCP entities. Provided legal and procedural counsel to ensure compliance with Foundation ethical statutes during sensitive research and containment initiatives. 

5 May 2027 – Present

Site Advisor, Site-65

Appointed to the Site-65 administration. Acts as senior advisor to the Site Director on internal security, containment ethics, and international anomalous legal affairs. Leverages prior experience as ISD Commissioner, Ethics liaison, and Overseer Assistant to maintain stability and regulatory oversight within Site-65’s diverse containment portfolio. Maintains Level 4 clearance.
