21 January 1994 — Born in Singapore, Asmodeus Nighthall was raised in a multicultural household, balancing Chinese, Malay, and Northern European traditions. His early years were marked by academic aptitude, especially in political science and law, earning top scores in Singapore’s Integrated Programme.
1 January 2012 – 1 January 2014 — National Service (Singapore ISD)
At age 18, Nighthall enlisted in Singapore’s Internal Security Department (ISD). He rapidly distinguished himself in counterterrorism operations, particularly in the Strait of Malacca. His tactical leadership during Operation Crimson Lantern — which culminated in the capture of the largest known cultist cell operating in the Singapore Strait — earned him the callsign "King" and high-level recognition.
August 2014 – May 2018 — Undergraduate Studies
After National Service, Nighthall pursued International Law & Ethics at the National University of Singapore, completing a minor in Political Science.
September 2018 – July 2020 — Postgraduate Studies
He continued his education at the University of Birmingham, earning an LLB in International Law & Globalization. His academic research focused heavily on counterterrorism legal frameworks and extra-national jurisdiction handling — studies which later aligned closely with Foundation operational law.
1 January 2021 – 17 March 2024 — Singapore Security and Intelligence Division (SID)
Recruited into SID’s Foreign Intelligence Division, Nighthall specialized in counter-cult, counter-piracy, and para-legal threat interdiction. His work during Operation Sapphire Maw exposed anomalous elements within Southeast Asian maritime syndicates, drawing first informal notice from embedded SCP Foundation liaisons.
