Abstract Submission

The submission deadline (April 24th) has passed. We no longer accept submissions.

Notification of acceptance: May 24th. Should you need to know earlier whether your abstract is accepted or not (to ask for funding at your institution for instance), please let the program committee know, by writing to Luca Ferrari.

We welcome submissions of abstracts in all research fields related to patterns in permutations and other combinatorial objects. Authors are encouraged to submit extended abstracts of 2-3 pages. Shorter or longer abstracts can also be considered, but the program committee reserves the right to ask for a revised version of an abstract, if it does not meet these requirements.

Formatting

Your submission should consist of:

  • A single archive including your .tex file prepared with this template: pp2019-template.tex and all the other files required to compile your final submission (figures, ...).

(Typically your compiled version should look like this: pp2019-template.pdf.)

  • A pdf file of your submission compiled from these.

Your submission must be uploaded on the submission form which was available here.

If you encounter difficulties to submit your abstract, or with the formatting, please contact us.

Common knowledge

When preparing your abstracts and presentations, you may assume as shared common knowledge everything in this document:

Permutation patterns: basic definitions and notation

Also keep in mind that some general concepts and methods relevant to the research in "Permutation patterns" will be presented to some of the participants during the pre-conference workshop. See the dedicated page for more details on the topics presented during the workshop.
