Plug Valve

Features

Plug valve is an auxiliary valve used in opening and throttling of high pressurized systems. It is used as by-pass to the line valve; it balances the pressure and provides the safe opening of line valve. Plug valves have a conical or cylindrical obturator rotating around the axis perpendicular to the flow direction. Plug Valves are produced in compliance with API 6D standards. Special products are also available for high temperature & pressure services. Plug valves are according to steel body and stainless trim ends being flanged to ASME B16.5 & B16.47 and FTF-Dimension complying with ASME B16.10 standard.

Customization

• Plug valves for high pressure and/or high temperature services. It is important to make the material selection according to the fluid corrosion.

• Big size and/or different/special material plug valves.

• Special material according to NACE corrosion standards and/or temperature class.

Applications

Suitable for general application as on / off and isolation valves, not recommended for throttling and / or regulating purposes. They have excellent resistance to earthquake, shocks, vibration, pressure & strokes and can be operated efficiently between -29°C to 425°C (Without lubricant).

Optional Requirements:-

Gearbox should be preferred when torque values are beyond 150 Nm for the differential pressure indicated on tables. Reduction devices are added when available gearbox is not sufficient.

Electric actuators are recommended for quick & easy operation of valves, together with remote control circuits when required.

Air Actuators - Limit switches, Solenoid Valve and regulating filter accessories are delivered when required. - Remote/ Local controls, lockable and hand control options are available.
