One of the most important steps in the CMP process is identifying vulnerabilities.
A vulnerability is defined as any factor that may alter or impact the site’s significance now or have the potential to do so in the future.
CMP policies and recommendations are designed to directly address vulnerabilities. Some are specific to the condition of the physical resources (the building and collections), while others relate more to the organizational management, specifically as it relates to the Hospital’s presence as a cultural institution.
This list was developed based on input from stakeholder outreach, site observations made by the project team and our consultants, and from regular project meetings and conversations with Hospital representatives.
