Peechat was officially made on an unknown date in May, 2020. While the chat had obviously existed prior to that, it was only properly named in that month, and truly began. Quackity fans, mostly from quacktwt, found themselves coming back to chat, it being most active at night. Even very late for most timezones, as many of Quackity's streams used to be in the middle of the night. It slowly became more of a group of friends than just a chatroom, regular chatters soon becoming official members. Peechat is believed to have gotten it's current name when someone named Mia (full username unknown), mispelled "prechat," refering to the state of chat before a livestream. The bit became funny enough that the name stuck, and it hasn't changed to this day.
At first, chat after streams were called postchat, but many started calling it "pisschat." That name is now largely disowned due to reasons explained on the "Twitter Frogs" page. While Peechat has changed in many ways since it's inital creation, some of it's members vanishing, some of them are still around, along with newer members. It has had periods of inactivity or quiet moments, but it's stayed shockingly active for almost 2 years as of February 2022. Not much else is known on the creation, or very early days, of Peechat.
