The Gingerbread House contest is a contest that took place on December 27th, 2021. Planned for Christmas, the idea sprouted from a VC on November 28th and properly announced on December 3rd by Spook. The contestants ending up voting for it to be after Christmas for everyone was too busy before it. Mari, Spook, Gibby, Presley, and Monster initally decided to be contestants, but on the day of the VC, Gibby, Loxta, Kick, Broccoli, Arctic and Spook ended up being the ones to participate. Monster had a trip and couldn't bring a gingerbread house, which explains the absence. Naty, Amy, Lmfao, Castle, Alexia, Fly, Elisha and Emily were supposed to be the judges, but Castle and Elisha couldn't show for the voting. It was one of the largest VCs in months at that point.

The contest went on a few hours, as the contestants built their houses on camera, except for Loxta, Arctic and Broccoli who made it beforehand. Arctic was revealed to have cheated because over half of her house was created by her family days prior. Meanwhile, Broccoli made their house with the help of someone else. Kick hadn't bought a house in time so he built his out of cardboard and hot glue. The results of the contest were confusing; a channel named "votes" was created in the Penthouse to keep track of who the judges thought should win, but things spiraled.

The system was supposed to be, judges would put react to each house with a checkmark if they liked it, or an X if they disliked it, but only had 2 checkmarks they could use, so 2 houses they could choose. But reactions began to get deleted and arguments started over who's house deserved the win and who's didn't. Another point that started controversy, stated by Fly, was that all the houses were pre-made and bought from stores instead of handmade by the competitors. Naty used a choice wheel website to decide the order of the winners was: 1. Kick 2. Spook 3. Broccoli 4. Arctic 5. Loxta 6. Gibby. The official results decided by the judges were that Broccoli and Kick both won the vote: Broc with 5 votes and Kick with 4. Descriptions of each house and farther inspection into the contests' drama will be looked into below.

Gibby's House

Gibby's gingerbread house was a standard yet charming one, with mini gingerbread people stood outside it, gumdrops, and frosted along the lines like all the other houses. There was also hard candies attached to the frosting, possibly to resemble Christmas lights. It also had windows and a door, snowflake shaped sprinkles, and peppermint lining the top. The standout feature of this house is the Christmas tree cookies and the path of the same color in front of it. It earned 2 checkmarks from Lmfao and Emily, and 2 Xs from Alexia and Naty.

Loxta's House

Lox's house was built off camera, and though he managed to catch photos of it, unfortunately their father ate it before the contest began. According to them, "it wasn't good because it was made in a rush." The house in question was decorated with hard candy and gumdrops on the sides and the roof. It had messy frosting covering a good portion of it. In the end, it received a checkmark from Naty, and 4 Xs from Alexia, Broccoli, Lmfao, and Emily. Fun fact: Broc and Alexia initally couldn't vote because they were blocked by Loxta and weren't allowed to react to their messages.

Kick's House

Kick's house is arguably the most unique of the houses, mostly because of the materials it was made from. The bright colored puff balls, meant to imitate lights or gumdrops, on the sides of the house, grab your attention. There is also a small yellow bow over the door, which can open. There is a drawing of the grinch smiling evilly on the side. Glue meant to resemble frost or icicles drip from the walls, and a Christmas tree stands by the side, made from the same puff balls. Then there is a wreath drawn on the door, and "PEE CHAT PENT HOUSE," written on the flat roof. The windows on almost all the sides have Peechatters and streamers drawn on them. They include: Broccoli, Riju, Fly, Elisha, Naty, Quackity, and a few others that are hard to tell who is who. One of the windows also has a pee stain drawn on it. Finally, theres 2 white bracelets hanging like banners from the roof, that read: "PEECHAT PENTHOUSE." It got 2 checkmarks from Naty and Alexia, and 2 Xs from Lmfao and Emily.

Broccoli's House

Broc's house screams their name, with a crewmate made from yellow and orange gumdrops on the roof. On the other side of the roof, icing that spells out "SUS." Gumdrops are on the top, and a peppermint in the center of the main wall. The door has a green candy knob and frosting windows. The frosting is decently neat, not the cleanest house, but better than many of the others. There was also candy canes on the sides. Their gingerbread house, nicknamed the "sussy house," gained 1 checkmark from Amy and 4 Xs from Naty, Alexia, Lmfao and Emily.

Arctic's House

Arctic's is probably the neatest of the houses frosting-wise, plus with even snowflake shaped and hard candies, and gumdrops. Candy canes line the roof, and windows on the sides. There is also a chimney cookie, a penguin cookie (meant to be her), and an elf cookie in the front. Lastly, there's a small "snowy" path. Arctic earned 0 checkmarks, and 2 Xs from Alexia and Broccoli. At first she had checks, until the judges who didn't join vc, learned she cheated. Since Emily only voted 1 checkmark, it's to be believed that they voted for Arctic's house, but the check was deleted by a mystery person trying to sabotage other competitors. This is proved by the fact that checks kept getting deleted, and how Emily didn't mind that she cheated and wanted to vote check anyways.

Spook's House

Spook's house has the darkest gingerbread color, plus gingerbread people and pets, because it came from a Hershey's house kit. This stirred up a small amount of arguments, debating over whether it was fair to have added those cookies when she never told anyone else they could add extras. Though these people may have forgotten that Gibby also had gingerbread people, most likely because how much of a focus Spook put on their cookies. The cookies were meant to be Leon and Ada from Resident Evil, a crewmate from Among Us, Leon Kennedy as a dog (based on a long running joke), xQc, Schlatt, Fly, Tweek Tweak from South Park, Quackity, and Jambo. Their house itself had a lot of frosting, candies shaped like lights, and candies shaped like mistletoe. They recieved 2 checks, from Alexia and Broccoli, and 4 Xs from Naty, Amy, Lmfao, and Emily.
