VIRAL AESTHETICS

(Re) search Art means a digital art style about the pressing and present reality in the current cyberspace and cybertime, which constitute the most recent configuration of the global public space. In the art work here shown, digital painting (Re) search Art Nº 1: Viral Aesthetics (re) presents the daily research that is carried out in a search engine like Google, which is increasingly articulated, and sometimes almost coincides, with the research that underlies contemporary scientific knowledge, in this case the hybrid poetics that fuse the arts with the social sciences. Viral aesthetics is one of these hybrid poetics.

(Re)search Art testemunha um estilo de arte digital sobre a realidade premente e presente no atual ciberespaço e cibertempo, que constituem a mais recente configuração do espaço público global. A obra de arte aqui mostrada, a pintura digital (Re)search Art Nº 1: Estética Viral, (re)presenta a pesquisa diária que se realiza num motor de pesquisa como o Google, que articula-se cada vez mais, e por vezes quase coincide, com a pesquisa que subjaz aos saberes científicos coevos, neste caso as poéticas híbridas que fundem as artes às ciências sociais. A estética viral é uma destas poéticas híbridas.
