Checklist for Service Learning Classes:
Have you had at least two other people read it to provide substantive feedback? (Remember DU's Online Writing Lab OWL provides asynchronous feedback as an option.)
Do you include analysis of systemic inequity using Key Terms?
Do you provide at least 2 specific illustrations from your community partner experience (use Givepulse documentation)?
Did you create pseudonyms for kids?
Have you included at least one poem?
Have you included at least one video or audio podcast?
Do you have the appropriate number of different sources with direct quotes (8 or more)?
Have you included Yosso (2005)?
Do your in text citations "only" reference the author's last name and page number (and year if APA)? (and otherwise not include first names and titles of books or articles.)
Do you have the appropriate number of citations from the SCWC (3 or more)? (Spring Semester Only)
