For an additional fee, a replica of your brick can be ordered for placement in your home or community and delivered to you when your original brick is placed in the Peace Corps Legacy Plaza. A 4x8 replica is $100, and 8x8 is $175, and an organization replica is $275.
Organizations such as RPCV Affiliate Groups or other national/international organizations that support the work of Peace Corps may donate to have a brick with their logo in the Peace Corps Legacy Plaza. Contact PCLA directly for details at rpcvplaza@gmail.com. Replica bricks are available for an additional $275 donation.
As an incentive for NPCA Affiliate Group members, when 25 or more of your Affiliate Group members donate a brick to the Peace Corps Plaza, your Affiliate Group will be eligible for a free 8x8 Organizational brick. Be sure to indicate your Affiliate Group membership on your order form. For more information, contact your Affiliate Group leader or rpcvplaza@gmail.com .
Any friend or family member can donate a Memorial Brick to the Peace Corps Legacy Plaza in honor of a deceased Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, PC staff member, or in-country host personnel. As a distinct and dignified tribute, the memorial brick serves as a tangible and enduring acknowledgment of the individual's service to their nation and the pursuit of global peace. PCLA donors at prescribed levels will be recognized by a natural clay brick installed in the Plaza and engraved with their name(s), city and state, and host country(s) with their years of service. PCLA does not provide any goods or services in return for donations. We are a 501(c)3 organization, and your donation should be tax-deductible.
We will acknowledge your donation with a letter via email.
No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation. When construction commences for PC Plaza, a brick with your information on it will be placed in the Plaza in your honor.
An announcement will be made on this website and our Facebook page when we have reached the critical number of donations to break ground for the Peace Corps Plaza. Interim goals are currently underway to contract for a land survey, which is a precursor to getting a bid from a contractor. Updates will be posted on this website and our Facebook page.
PLEASE NOTE:
All donations for bricks are final. We contract with a 3rd party vendor to etch the bricks and they are not able to refund us. This is stated on their order page.
