Each year, Project Downtown Tampa (PDT) comes together to celebrate the spirit of community, compassion, and unwavering dedication at our highly anticipated Annual PDT Banquet. This event is not just a special occasion; it's the lifeblood of our organization, providing a significant portion of the funds we need to sustain our efforts throughout the year. As a non-profit, student-run organization, we heavily rely on the generosity of our community to ensure our mission thrives. Without these crucial donations, many of our key initiatives, including our hygiene drives and our ability to provide hot meals to Tampa's homeless, simply wouldn't be possible.
The Annual PDT Banquet is not only our most prominent fundraising event; it serves as a heartwarming assembly of individuals united by a shared objective— uplifting and supporting those who devote their time to helping others, especially the underserved in our communities. During this extraordinary evening, we invite guest speakers to the stage to inspire and remind us of the immense impact we can make when we join together for a greater cause. Moreover, the banquet offers a unique chance for the Tampa community to connect with the board members who diligently head PDT every week.
