Volunteer Today!
Project Downtown Tampa meets every Friday at 4 PM at the Marshall Student Center located at the University of South Florida.
With open hearts and a simple yet impactful mission, we gather every Friday to prepare sandwiches and deliver them to those who need it most on the streets of Tampa. But our commitment to service goes beyond sandwiches; we strive to uplift our community in more ways than one.
We are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing space for anyone who wishes to contribute their time and energy to this worthy cause. Whether you're a student, a passionate volunteer, or someone simply looking to give back, we welcome you to join Project Downtown Tampa.
Every week, our volunteers come together not only to share meals, but also to support our friends downtown.
We also collaborate with various USF and Tampa-based organizations throughout the year to help foster a sense of community and achieve our goals. From making sleeping mats to conducting blanket drives, these initiatives are only possible with the help of others. Community involvement is crucial as it not only enables us to carry out our mission, but also reach out to new volunteers. Together, we strive to make Tampa a better place for everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
